Looking For Someone

I am looking for someone to partner with me for the 2012 show season. It's difficult sometimes to find a babysitter, so that John can come with me. I have 2 shows possibly booked already-Augusta Expo in March and Sweet Dreams in June. I am sure there will be more.
You have to be available and willing to be at all shows booked. I am not hiring in any way, shape, form, or fashion. I am just looking for someone who shares the same love in crafting that I do. And has their own handmade items to put in the booth. Selling your own items will be your payment.
If you have any questions and are interested. Please contact me at inspiredcreationsbymichelle@gmail.com.

Ashlynn's Birthday Present-Tutu Cute!

Photobucket
I have been wanting to make these for about 2 1/2 years now. And I thought today would be a good day to get all the materials together, hunker down, and get it done. 4 hours later, not including dinner. It's finally done! And I loved every bit of those 4 hours!
Photobucket
The tutu is done in pink and blue tulle with of course my hand sewn ribbon flowers attached at the top to match!
Photobucket
The ribbon flowers are 1 1/2 inches. Everything on this Tutu screams handmade!
I think I did pretty awesome for my first one!

Canvas Stencil Art

Last weekend I started a project, but before I could finish it I got creatively blocked and couldn't think about what or where I was going with the project. Well, today I finished it.
I started out with a 14x11 Canvas and painted it with light blue acrylic. Then I cut the flower stencils with the Cricut with a font size of 5 inches. The colors in the flowers were inspired by some felt brads I had laying around.
Photobucket
I used a sponge brush and dabbed the paint in the middle of the stencil. Then I painted in the middle with a paint brush.
Photobucket
Next, I took a saying off one of my book marks. "It takes a long time to grow an old friend." And cut the letters out with the Cricut. Each line has different sizes. 1 inch, 1 1/4 inch, 1 1/2 inch, and 2 inches. I used black acrylic and a sponge brush to dab the paint in the middle of the stencils.
Photobucket
Then I took the acrylic paint that matched where the middle of the letters where on the flowers and taped the cut letters that had middles down. Then dabbed the colors in and Viola.

A Beautiful Canvas! You'll be able to buy this particular canvas in the Bonanza Shop!

Signs, Signs, Everywhere Signs...

John, my husband asked me if I would make 4 signs for him for work. Because they are in the process of putting up some Bulletin Boards. Of course I told him I would. So, we went over to Lost Shade Games & Hobbies this morning and I got straight to work. I started out with a very long piece of plywood that was under 4 inches in Length and I painted it with Light Cinnamon Acrylic to match the stained wood shelves in the store.
Photobucket
Then, I cut out at a font size of 3 1/2 inch. I pulled the paper off of the cutting pad and used that to dab the white paint into the stenciled letters with a sponge brush.
Photobucket
Then I used a 1 1/2 inch font size to complete the rest of the wood, so that later he could cut in between it. Once he gets it cut I can add the photo hangers for him.
Photobucket
So, that was my project today. I told him once he got them done and they were hanging up to get a picture of my work on the wall. (And yes, I charged for my time and materials as well)!

Crafting As Usual

Now that I am longer a "business", that means there's more time to bring you some of my creations!
This is one I did tonight using my Cricut. This is the second project I've completed with it thus far!
It's completed and drying and since Facebook is being a pain and won't let me just load the photo. I had to do it blog style!
I still have to find a photo hanger suitable for this cute wood sign! It's $15.00 plus shipping and will soon be available to purchase in the Bonanza shop.
Photobucket
Later on I will be posting the photo's and listing of the Sizzix and Dies up on here as well.
