Do You Remember?

It's funny how an idea to create something can come from a simple conversation or just pop into your head when you least expect it to. I was on the phone with my mom, who calls me at the same time every Tuesday. I look forward to these conversations every week for, well, my sanity's sake. I guess that's a way to put it. We always talk about the week and what all has happened in both our lives. Usually turning into an hour conversation or an hour rant, depending on what happened that week.
But, we were talking about the show and I was telling her about the idea to add more variety of color to the bows for the shows, rather than just the select few I had. And cutting down on the amount of decoupage I took to the shows. Just a few select pieces. And the idea popped into my head, I even told her about it over the phone. What if I took these?

And added snap clips on them and then put them in the blister packs. I notice a lot of times at the shows that people will pick them up and look at them and then put them back down. And their not really selling either. So, I guess I go back to the idea that if it's not selling let's create something else with it!
If you've been with me for awhile the original idea was to put the alligator clips on them and sell them like that. But, I thought the alligator clips were way to big for them, so I made them into something scrap bookers and card makers could use. Well, that idea was a big bust. So, I really feel like I'm going in a right direction with this idea.
So, earlier today I used what money I had left over from the money my hubby gave me to buy all the new ribbon, clips, and head bands with and I bought 100 snap clips to add to all the packs of ribbon flowers in the Bonanza Store. And please don't think I'm trying to turn this into a bowtique. That is not my idea at all. We just noticed that while we weren't selling the decoupage, cards, and tags at the shows. What we were selling were the hair clips. So, the idea to add more to the store came from that.
I am and I always will Inspired to bring you new, unique items like the Decoupage. And, while I am on the subject of changing things. Remember these:

These were a big eye catcher at the show as well. But, I have 6 that haven't been posted yet and they will have ribbon added to them and will be made into Fairy Wands.

Decisions

I thought long and hard on how to save money while doing the ribbon flower brooches/hair clips. And then my dear hubby, John, came up with the idea to only post the flower up and let the buyer decide on what they would want. Do they want it as a brooch, a hair clip, or both. So, I am going to do that. I will make an extra flower to post in each store. The one's that are already pre-made up are the one's I'm taking to the show. Such as these:


But, will still be available to buy in the store's.
The Tag on them will become a price tag for the last 3 shows. The Ribbon flowers have been selling like hot cakes..Well, one buyer bought almost all of them! So, please be patient as I try and get them restocked in the chaos that is my life sometimes!

Sweet Dream-Stuarts Draft, VA

Yep, That's our next craft show! The Sweet Dreams show is in Stuarts Draft, VA on July 23rd! Less than 2 weeks away and I still have so much to do!
I'm taking 2 new products with me to this show!
First, I'll be taking the new flower brooches!

Second, I'll be taking the new Flowers on Stems! I'm thinking of doing 25 random Flowers on stems and 25 Fairy wands! But, I'm not sure time, kids, and all the other obligations between now and then will allow me to do the fairy wands in time. So, I'm planning to release them for the August show!

Yes, as bad as the June show was, we hold on to the hope that each show will hopefully be better than the one's in the past. So, I am going back in August to Natural Chimneys!

Auction

I've been debating whether to hold an auction on facebook or not. Hm...So, I think I'm going to do it. I will Auction off some of my items: Cards, Tags, etc, starting tomorrow night I will make a album with auction items. Highest bid wins. So, here's how it's going to work.
If it's a card or tags and the highest bid is over $5.00 you will get free shipping!
of course if it's under you will have to pay shipping (Unless your local) such as in Harrisonburg.
I really need to move the old inventory and get ready for the new inventory, but I can't until some of the old is gone. So, I will be working hastily tomorrow night about 10 pm to start an auction album. I've never done a auction so if you have some idea's or tips please use the contact me tab on the left of the fan page to let me know! All bids on items will be started at $1.00 and then bids can be placed at any price after that. Once I get the auction album up and going you will have until Saturday to place your bids. All cards and tags will be $1.95 for shipping and you can pay through paypal or money order or check. If you pay with money order or check I will not ship the item until I receive the money. International buyers just so you know I do ship internationally.
